What a sweet thing to say.. you can tell this was definitely your favorite player.
Im sorry that he had to move on.. but something great will come outta it for him and let me tell ya, I think he will be more remembered for what he did do for detroit than anywhere else hes played.
what an amazing player, and great career hes had.. but I feel one of the reasons he did stay was because of Stevie Yzerman. but thats just opinion.
and another reason being he fit in the nucleus of the team.. now he really doesnt fit anymore.. we will see new faces and things.. and thats what you call the great glories of being an NHL player. or any player in pro sports for that matter.
its not always about the money.. in Ben Wallace's case it was... but, the pistons really didnt need him anyway...
Shanahan will be replaced, but it will take time and patience to find some good young guns to fill this void.
anyway, all the best to him. and im sorry that he got traded.. i can tell you really liked the guy.
its too bad you wings fans lost him!
what an awesome player! but he was ready to move on.. sorry *manda*
your best friend,
and linemate..
